Refund and Cancellation Policy
On this page
GarageCAM is provided by JD's Garage LLC, Fargo, North Dakota, United States. Public business address: 1203 43rd Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102, United States. Product support: jdstrem@gmail.com.
1. Our seven-day first-purchase guarantee
We offer a full refund when you request it within seven calendar days of your first successful GarageCAM subscription payment. This applies to either the monthly or annual plan. You do not need to stay below a particular number of toolpath calculations to use this guarantee.
The guarantee applies to your first paid subscription purchase, not a fresh guarantee after every cancellation, repurchase or renewal. Requests outside that guarantee, including renewal payments, are reviewed individually. We will also consider duplicate charges, billing errors, material product problems and other circumstances relevant to your request.
The seven-day guarantee is an additional customer benefit, not a global deadline that overrides other refund rights. Applicable consumer law and Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy may provide additional rights or remedies. Those rights remain available, including where a longer withdrawal period applies. Paddle also retains its independent authority to approve refunds under its terms. Paddle Refund Policy.
2. Requesting a refund
Email jdstrem@gmail.com with your GarageCAM account email and Paddle receipt or transaction reference. A short description of a problem helps us investigate, but you do not need to justify a request that qualifies for our first-purchase guarantee. Do not send your password, full card number, security code or bank-login details.
For Paddle purchases, you may also use the support information on your receipt or visit Paddle buyer support. Refunds of Paddle payments are processed through Paddle, not by a separate direct payment from us.
The date you submit the request determines whether it falls within our guarantee; you do not need to receive approval or the returned funds within those seven days. Bank posting times vary. We do not promise an immediate refund or a particular bank-credit date. See Paddle's policy for its applicable processing rules.
3. Canceling future renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. To cancel, open GarageCAM Account → Billing and subscriptions → Manage billing on Paddle, then complete cancellation in the Paddle customer portal. You can also use the management link in your Paddle receipt or contact Paddle buyer support. Contact us if you cannot reach those options.
Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and normally retains access through the paid-through date already confirmed for your subscription. Cancellation by itself does not automatically refund an earlier payment. Cancel before the next renewal shown in your billing information to avoid that next charge, and retain the cancellation confirmation. Closing GarageCAM, closing checkout or signing out does not cancel a paid subscription.
4. What an approved refund changes
An approved full refund removes the access supplied by the refunded payment. When the current paid period is fully refunded and no other valid paid period remains on that subscription, GarageCAM triggers cancellation of that subscription's future renewal after processing. Refunding one payment does not erase access supplied by another valid payment or an independent trial. A pending refund request alone does not confirm that either refund or cancellation has completed; check the resulting status and contact support if they disagree.
A partial refund does not normally remove that period's access or cancel renewal. Refunding an older period does not automatically remove a newer, separately paid period. Refund processing does not erase an independent valid trial or other entitlement. A refund or reversal therefore does not always mean every form of GarageCAM access has ended.
New application access requires a valid entitlement. An already-open Machine Control page may retain limited safety handling: the existing authorized, unchanged job may continue on its original uninterrupted connection, and the normal fixed fifteen-minute safety grace begins when no unresolved job remains. This does not authorize new work after access ends, extend the paid period or guarantee successful machine operation. Connection loss does not authorize an automatic restart or replay. Offline pages cannot learn a new refund or revocation until reconnecting or reaching their last verified access deadline. See the Terms of Service and operating guidance for the full limitations.
5. Payment failures and disputes
A failed renewal does not purchase another period of access. Access ends when the existing confirmed period ends unless another valid entitlement applies.
Contact us or Paddle about billing problems. Nothing in this policy removes your lawful right to dispute a payment. A verified chargeback or reversal may remove the access supplied by the affected payment while it is reviewed.
6. Scope and changes
This policy covers GarageCAM software subscriptions, not separate physical products sold by JD's Garage LLC or another store. Separate order-trial access does not automatically create a paid subscription or change this guarantee.
The version and effective date are identified with this policy. We date later updates. Changes will not retroactively reduce the rights attached to an earlier purchase. Mandatory rights and applicable Paddle transaction terms remain unaffected.
